Conditioning

The state of change in a physiological system that improves repolarization and reaction time of that system.

Examples: Cardiovascular conditioning and muscle endurance conditioning.

Conditioning can be achieved by many different methods depending on the results desired by the athlete. Specific exercises and movements can be incorporated into a training schedule that directly relate to conditioning (as listed below) but one of the major advantages of using a Tsunami Bar® instead of a steel bar is that 3 times more stabilizing muscles can be activated which leads to more cardiovascular conditioning from all exercises performed.

Some Examples:

  • Prowler® Push

  • Spinning

  • Plank to Push-up

  • Speed Skaters

  • Backpedal

  • Tsunami Bell Turkish Get-up
